Social Justice and Civil Rights
In Josh’s own words:
“Office hours” and availability
As County Commissioner, Josh will be accessible and available to every resident by holding monthly “office hours” throughout the county. Josh believes that as a public official, his first responsibility is to understand the concerns of constituents, and that the first step is to be accessible. Additionally, these office hours will be held in the evenings and on weekends so that anyone has the opportunity to meet with Josh about their concerns and/or recommendations.
Empowering Existing Leaders
Josh believes that Chester County residents deserve the best in social services, and that we are fortunate to have knowledgeable, active, empathetic leaders within our community. As commissioner, he will work with our domestic violence and crime victims’ centers, food banks, and non-profit health leaders to make sure that all leaders have every resource and tool they need to make sure no one is left behind in Chester County.
Equality and Diversity
Josh believes government should reflect the fabric of the community. As county commissioner, he will work with our administrators to ensure we have the most qualified and diverse employees working in our government so that everyone in Chester County believes that our government reflects who all of us are.
